SHELTER SUPPORT
As we travel the world together on our bike or van, each encounter reminds us that no matter where we go, animals have the same simple wish: to be safe, loved, and cared for.
In every country we visit, we see firsthand the challenges that animal rescuers face. Shelters are often overcrowded and struggling with limited food and supplies, while volunteers work tirelessly around the clock to care for injured or abandoned animals. At the same time, stray populations continue to grow faster than available resources can manage, creating a constant struggle for funding, medicine, and access to proper veterinary care.

These shelters are the front lines of compassion, saving lives every day, often against impossible odds. Our mission is simple: to support them, amplify their efforts, and give more animals a second chance.
Through donations, partnerships, and hands-on support, we help shelters and rescues care for animals in need.

Our story reaches millions of people around the world, people who love animals and want to help. By sharing the stories of the shelters we meet on the road, we shine a light on incredible work and connect these organisations with a global community of animal lovers.

Whenever possible, we provide financial aid, food, medical supplies, and equipment to shelters and rescuers. Sometimes it’s sacks of kibble, sometimes vaccines or sterilisation costs, but every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Our program is committed to collaborating with local vets and animal welfare groups to support Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR) initiatives and sterilisation campaigns. These efforts help prevent future suffering and humanely control stray populations.

Through our journey, we have shown that compassion knows no borders. Every photo, every rescue story, and every moment of kindness inspires others to help, proving that real change begins with small acts of care.

From the hills of Bosnia, where I found Nala on the side of a road, to the beaches of Turkey, we have stopped countless times to help animals in need. A puppy lying motionless by the roadside, an abandoned cat fighting for life, or a shelter struggling to recover after a fire. Each story becomes part of a bigger mission: to remind the world that every life matters.

Shelters in areas we are visiting are warmly encouraged to reach out if support is needed — we’re always happy to connect and see how we can help. If you know of a shelter that could benefit from assistance, please let us know.
