New Adventure Awaits

Those who have been following our journey since the very beginning will know us as Dean and Nala, the faces behind 1bike1world. Well, the past few months have been a little different for us.

After another incredible time on the road, we returned to our hometown in Scotland to roll up our sleeves for a very busy winter behind the scenes.

A Winter of Hard Work at Home

While it may have looked quieter on social media, there has been anything but rest happening in Scotland. The festive season brought an amazing wave of Christmas orders from our wonderful community, and the whole 1bike1world team has been working very hard to carefully pack and post every single one. Your support over the holidays was nothing short of incredible and it directly helps us continue our mission.

Being home has also given us the rare opportunity to focus fully on building and launching the official NALA'S ARK charity website. This is a project that has been close to our hearts for a long time. Creating a dedicated online space allows us to share our rescue work, highlight the impact you are helping us make, and grow the NALA'S ARK community in a meaningful way.

Our new wooden pin badges of the animals that we've rescued so far, are a small but meaningful way to show your support. Thoughtfully designed and easy to wear, they help spread the message of compassion for animals wherever you go.

These beautiful knitted hats and blankets have been lovingly handmade by my sister Holly and my mum. Every stitch carries that special family warmth, making them more than just cosy additions for winter. They represent the heart behind everything we do.

Over the years, I have captured breathtaking wildlife moments during my travels. From puffins to whales, these limited edition prints allow you to bring a piece of those adventures into your own home.

Back on the Road

And now for the part we’re most excited about…

This month, we will be getting back on the bike.

The open road is calling once again, and with it comes the spirit of adventure that first brought so many of us together. After months of planning, building, packing, posting, and creating, it’s finally time to ride.

Being back on the road means you can expect many more YouTube videos, behind the scenes moments from our travels, regular social media updates, animal encounters, rescue, unexpected adventures and updates on NALA'S ARK projects around the world.

The journey has always been about more than just cycling, it’s about connection. Connection to people, to places, and to animals in need. When I rescued Nala all those years ago, neither of us could have imagined how far that bond would travel or how many lives it would touch.
